Legally compliant e-invoices in the tried-and-true PDF format
Electronic invoicing is gradually becoming the mandatory standard in business transactions between domestic companies. OSMA-WERM has put the necessary measures in place to ensure that you receive our invoices in a manner that is both legally compliant and as straightforward as possible.
Our invoices are provided in the standardized ZUGFeRD format in accordance with EN 16931. This is a hybrid invoice format that combines two components into a single file:
- an invoice in PDF format that you can read, and
- an embedded XML file containing the structured invoice data.
You can therefore continue to open, read, save, or print the invoice as a PDF as usual. At the same time, the embedded XML file enables automated processing of the invoice data in compatible accounting and inventory management systems. It contains the structured data required for tax processing.
This does not create any additional work for you: You receive only one file that contains both the visible PDF invoice and the machine-readable XML data record. For digital archiving, the original file transmitted by OSMA-WERM should be stored in its entirety and without modification so that the embedded invoice data is preserved.
